Whether you purchase a storage building right from one of our lots or you place a special order, you get to decide on what kind of door you want for your shed. We have two types of doors – roll up or swing – and your choice will depend on your unit’s placement and what you’re going to store inside.
Here are the open and shut facts about each:
Swinging Single. Our swinging doors give your building a more traditional, aesthetically pleasing look. They are easy to open and close, affording you easy entry to your shed. Swing doors come in a standard 48″ width, with size options of up to 72″. Metal buildings have standard double locks, and the wooden buildings have doors encased in a metal frame.
Door Rolled. Roll up doors are most often chosen for larger storage buildings housing things such as lawn mowers or vehicles. They require no swing radius, and the doors store neatly in the ceiling of the shed. Rollup doors are made of 26 gauge metal, and offer enhanced security. They come in sizes from 5′ to 8′ wide.
Knock. Knock. Some of our customers actually choose both types of door for their building, like the one in the picture below. This gives you the best of both worlds.
The good news is that no matter which style door you choose, you can’t knock our doors for their quality, durable, secure construction. So come on over an knock on our door. We’ll let you knock on a few more, until you knock on the one that you’ve chosen for your new building.
