Fruit Stand: a Plum Assignment!

The Big Idea: The owner of this local business had an idea that he wanted turned into reality – a dream if you must. He presented us with his sketches and we submitted it to our factory for artist renderings. Like most businesses, these required approval from the city and after a little back and forth with technicalities, the finished product was agreed upon.

The Harvest: Like with any good plan, we had to make a few adjustments to get to the finished product. First, we added extra shoring and bracing to ensure the structure was strong enough to transport. Then we customized the interior and reinforced the framing and sheath to help support the open concept the customer requested. Lastly, architectural shingles were added and a Cedar urethane stain.
