Tis the season for all the festive lights, decorations and fun events. This year Hometown Sheds Lincolnton was happy to help house Santa and Mrs. Claus at Santa’s Village in First Federal Park.

A Home for Santa.

Each year First Federal Park in Lincolnton hosts Santa’s Village, a place where local families can gather to visit Santa, enjoy decorations, live entertainment and more! However, this year Santa was in search of a new home. In the past Santa has been housed under a tent, not conducive to windy weather, cold and rain. After seeing a social media post for Hometown Sheds Lincolnton, a Downtown Development Association of Lincolnton board member, Wayne, messaged Hometown Sheds Lincolnton manager, Stephanie, to inquire about a home for Santa.

Stephanie received the message on a Saturday evening but immediately replied, scheduling an in-office meeting the following week. After discussing several sizes and options, Wayne determined that the 10X12 building was the perfect fit for Santa and Mrs. Claus. The plan was to have the shed be used as a gingerbread house for children to visit Santa. Stephanie walked him through the color choices, deciding on taupe, which would fit the theme and also added an electrical package to fit their needs.

Creating the Magic.

The rush was on to get Santa’s house created for the big reveal – a little over two weeks away but, Hometown Sheds Lincolnton delivered, literally. After expediting the order, the new shed was delivered just in time for a local team of artists to add walls, flooring, window décor and decorations galore.

Downtown Development Association of Lincolnton executive director Betty Florh was amazed at the ease and speed of the entire process. “Stephanie was tremendously helpful. She got it ordered and the next week it was here. Without her we would still be saying, how can we figure this out?”

She also expressed that she was happy to work with a local company and hopes that this is a building that Santa can use for a long time, potentially adding more in the future as the team makes Santa’s Village the local holiday destination spot for families.

You and your family can visit Santa’s Village in First Federal Park Lincolnton Thursday through Saturday during the holiday season.

This holiday Hometown Sheds Lincolnton is here for any of your and Santa’s storage needs. From sheds to buildings, garages, and even kennels for your four-legged friends, we’re here to help make your Hometown Holiday magical.
