Welcome our New Hometown Sheds Director of Sales & Training

Hometown Sheds started as a shed company over 10 years ago. We’ve now turned into your outdoor storage solution featuring quality sheds, garages, carports, playsets, kennels, greenhouses and more. As we continue to grow, expand our product line, and add new locations, we’re growing our family, too. We are excited to welcome our new Director of Sales & Training, Jon Mealer.

While Jon may be new to Hometown Sheds, he’s no stranger to the world of construction and buildings. He has worked as a general manager for both a modular home company and in sales and management for a recreational vehicle dealership over the past several years. He believes taking his customer service experience and combining it with efficient processes and procedures that he’s learned throughout his career will help the Hometown Sheds managers work more effectively and help the company overall.

Originally from Michigan, Jon has also lived in Pittsburgh (did we mention he’s a Steelers fan?), Kentucky, and he has spent the last 18 months in North Carolina. When he’s outside of the office he enjoys traveling, vacationing to the beach and lake, and taking cruises.

When asked what’s surprised him the most since starting at Hometown Sheds, he says it’s the people. “Everyone is so friendly, nice, and helpful. They seem to be happy to work here.” Jon was also interested to learn that Hometown Sheds not only offers sheds for sale, but also manufactures them from the ground up right in our own Danville, VA facility.  They’re truly built from design to delivery in house.
