How It Happened. This past spring, our Hometown Sheds location in Hudson, NC received a request from Christian Missionary Alliance to create a custom playset for their compound in the country of Guinea. After going back and forth on sizes, features, etc. their custom set was containerized and shipped out from Hickory, NC in May. After it arrived and cleared customs, a representative from Hometown Sheds met the playset at the compound in September. With the assistance of several missionary volunteers, the playset was assembled in less than three days. Now the families at the compound are enjoying a durable and safe play area that will last for years to come.

Why They Chose Us. Our play sets are durable, vinyl wrapped and Amish built to last for years to come at only a fraction of the price of our competition. The group had been considering a wooden playground option, but after factoring in the large termite concern in Africa and doing some research, they realized that a vinyl wrapped option would best fit their needs. Our sets also include safety features such as super flexible plastic silicon which doesn’t burn hands in the hot summer sun. The chains are covered in rubber coating so little fingers aren’t pinched while playing. The ladders have non slip steps and safety rails.
