10 Years Of Excellence at Hometown Sheds Gastonia

If you’ve ever visited our Hometown Sheds Gastonia location then you’ll recognize the familiar face and voice of Jeff Cooper. This month marks Jeff’s 10 year anniversary with Hometown Sheds and we are excited to celebrate this milestone with him.

Jeff is no stranger to the building industry. In 1998 he started with modular homes, and eventually became a construction manager. After over 12 years, he took his knowledge of construction and building and brought it to Hometown Sheds as one of the company’s first employees. He opened and managed the Gastonia Hometown Sheds location and has been helping customers create their dream storage solutions ever since.

When asked what has changed in the past 10 years, Jeff says the sheds and buildings are larger and have made advancements, but are still the same great quality. The way customers shop has transitioned from strictly paper and pencil to more online shopping. Many customers are using the resources and tools available to them to shop through the Hometown Sheds website, social media, and 3D config tools.

He believes the biggest difference between Hometown Sheds and the competition is the people. “We are able to give the customer the most educated decision when they are ready to make a purchase. Many competitors aren’t familiar with their products.” At Hometown, our staff has the product knowledge and background to truly help the customer from design to an even easier delivery process than others, too.
